Training, mentoring, and coaching sessions
My background as a commercial lawyer specialising in technology and IP spans both private practice and in-house roles, including eight years at Arm and three years as Senior Director of Legal at Pragmatic Semiconductor, where I built and led a high-performing legal and IP team. I have always particularly enjoyed training and coaching individuals and teams, both lawyers and non-lawyers, which is now a key part of my consultancy offering.
In terms of training for in-house lawyers, I specialise in providing highly-tailored training, mentoring, and coaching to help junior to mid-level lawyers with technical legal skills, communication and influence skills, operational excellence, and personal development, whether on a 1-1 basis or for small groups. Example subjects are below; I am also able to deliver my Udemy course on “GenAI prompt engineering for legal practice” (see here) in person in a workshop format. I deliver both one-off sessions and I also work with clients on an ongoing basis to ensure that learnings are consolidated and momentum is maintained as part of an ongoing development and support programme.
I also deliver legal and compliance training for non-lawyers, a list of possible training subjects is below on this page.
I deliver sessions in person at your premises or remotely, on a fixed-fee basis that will include pre-session communications and preparation of bespoke materials.
Please contact me and we can arrange to chat through your requirements - there’s no obligation to proceed and any initial chat is entirely free of charge.
I look forward to discussing how my offering could be shaped for your team specifically!!
